At least 7 images, breasts from 3 angles, plus the axilla (armpits), upper back and throat (to see thyroid area). Includes free complimentary 2nd thermal imaging session after 90 days to establish your baseline - a value of $200 is our gift to you. This critical follow-up breast imaging is the key to establishing your stable thermal baseline or "fingerprint" so that any future change would be instantly apparent to a thermologist. Seven images, includes 6 breast angles and 1 upper back image.
If you were imaged with FDA-registered Meditherm equipment at your previous clinic, you won't need to do the second imaging to establish your baseline; Meditherm is able to access your previous images.
11 views plus, includes breasts, shows information about dental, carotid artery, TMJ, cranial nerves, additional closeups of problem areas as needed.
Women’s Screening (upper body - excludes legs): (includes breast imaging session after 90 days to establish baseline). Scans of head, dental, neck, thyroid, shoulders, hips, abdomen/pelvis, upper and lower back, arm and hand scans. Minimum 17 scans. Additional closeups of problem areas as needed. Allow 90 minutes.
Men’s Wellness Screening (head to pubic bone, all 4 sides) includes head, dental, neck, thyroid, chest, abdomen, hips, upper and lower back, arm and hand scans. Additional closeups of problem areas as needed. Allow 90 minutes.
Includes 2nd breast imaging after 90 days to establish stable baseline
22 views plus, includes Women's/Men’s Wellness Scan, Breast & Head, hips, legs, knees, feet, additional closeups of problem areas as needed. Allow 60 - 120 minutes.
Examples of a region of interest: hands, knees, low back, upper back, neck, face, elbows, feet, abdomen, hamstrings, calves, etc... images of area of pain as well as any adjacent areas, plus the spine/back area providing the nerve root to the affected area. For example, hand pain would involve taking pics of cervical spine, arms and hands. Allow 45-60 minutes.
Reports are usually ready in 2-3 days, sooner if needed, for a small fee. They include images with thermal findings, plus recommendation for further testing if any. We will fax or email digital copies of your report + images to you and as many providers as you wish at no extra cost. High quality color laser hardcopies are available for $25 each.
It takes the body up to 90 days to connect the accelerated blood vessel formation of a new tumor (angiogenesis) to the sympathetic nervous system which allows it to be seen on the skin with thermal imaging. Therefore, we take a second set at least 90 days from your first set, to ensure that your thermal signature is unchanging and stable.
So far, Meditherm makes the only medical grade (with FDA factory inspections) infrared imaging equipment on the market today. Other brands of infrared cameras are industrial cameras, not medical grade, and do not have FDA factory inspections nor the sensitivity of a Meditherm camera.
Treatment Efficacy Monitoring - when knowing whether a treatment is working is critical, thermography provides objective thermal evidence, documenting "change over time" in levels of inflammation, tumor shrinkage, circulation increases, nerve conduction improvement, etc.
Allergic Response Testing - referral required, especially great for children, no pricking, just application of allergen to skin and infrared imaging of allergic response on face & at site on skin of application. Must be conducted at referring provider's office or have representative from referring provider's office present administering allergens.
RSDS (reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome), CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome) & Raynaud Syndrome can be diagnosed with thermal imaging. Requires a cold stress test (1 minute of an extremity, hand or foot, in cool water to trigger sympathetic nervous response in the skin which will not trigger if pain syndrome is present, and the thermal signature, hypothermia will be detected, indicative of sympathetic dystrophy. Call for more information.
Tumors that are very slow growing or encapsulated by the body (17%) will not have a heat signature and thus aren't visible with thermography. It is generally accepted that cold tumors are not growing and are stable or in a state of regression.
Thermal imaging is an excellent screening tool for just about everything except issues relating to prostate, testicles, lung & brain. Issues in these areas must be very advanced to show up on a thermogram so screening with DITI is not appropriate for catching disease early in these areas. Also DITI cannot detect systemic cancers like lymphoma or leukemia for these have no thermal signature, at least that is known. These particular conditions and parts of the body do not have the same sympathetic nervous system responses that relay information to and from the skin as other internal tissue does.
