Dear Radiant Bodies,

It warms my heart to announce this second spectacular multi-state tour across the country to image radiant bodies who want to stay radiant and who realize that getting the best service is worth the wait when it comes to infrared imaging, as with many other things.

We provide so much more than your typical fast food thermography clinic in terms of:

1) report quality - detail, clarity, & professionalism your medical doctor can respect
2) the country’s best interpreting thermologists (thermdoc.com), rockstars in their field, and
3) me, a great picture taker, because I’ve analyzed gait and posture for years for fun and income and I know how to get squared up with you for picture perfect angles.

Plus I’m your greatest ally in navigating the sometimes bumpy waters of healthcare created by competing interests, liability concerns, etc. I am happy to discuss all your screening and diagnostic imaging options with you so that you can understand how they all work and use them to your best advantage. Make informed decisions and good choices that protect your health as primary objective number one even if that choice is choosing to do nothing at times.

I love H. Gilbert Welch’s declaration that goes something like “screening is a choice - it is not a medical health imperative”. He warns in his book “Overdiagnosed” that while it may seem logical that finding things early means we find less late stage disease, studies show that in breast cancer since implementing mammography screening in the 80’s that we are finding more early stage but no less late stage. WHAT!!! “Screening shouldn’t “cause” breast cancer” he declares, warning that overdiagnosis is indeed clearly evident in the numbers analyzing the last three decades of screening with mammography in North American countries. Here is Welch and Bleyer’s work revealing the Effect of Three Decades of Screening Mammography on Breast-Cancer Incidence. If I recall, Welch says the title should have been Effect of Three Decades of Screening Mammography on Stage Specific Breast-Cancer Incidence. However the NEJM had a title character limit and therefore he’s forced to have incorrect title. This paper really opened my eyes to what has really been happening in the world of breast screening.

I truly believe thermography has a huge role to play in restoring healthy approaches to breast care as well as preventing treatment of harmless indolent slow-growing “turtles” as Dr. Welch calls them as if they were lethal cancer.

Love your cold lumps, worry about the warm ones.

Stay RADIANT!

Love,
Candace
